Sleep better and be more productive!
Sleeping well is a key factor in developing good physical and mental health, performing better in our daily lives, and, why not say it, in our work too. However, not many of us are able to get the recommended eight hours of sleep every night. The Spanish Society of Neurology estimates that between 20 and 48% of Spanish society has trouble falling asleep. This number has increased in the last decade, and one of the factors associated with this is, of course, our dreaded blue light.
The similarity between blue light and sunlight at dawn causes levels of melatonin, the sleep hormone, to drop dramatically, disrupting the sleep cycle and thus causing insomnia.
According to Harvard Business Review, wearing glasses that filter out this blue light can help people sleep better. To test these claims, a study was conducted in which 63 employees of a company were exposed to the effects of computer glasses whose lenses were designed to filter out blue light (our Biohackers collection).).
The results of the study were conclusive: not only did the vast majority experience an improvement in their sleep cycle, but subsequent surveys on productivity and work environment showed a 7.11% increase at the personal level.
In conclusion, blue light can not only become a long-term problem, but it also affects our daily lives, our relationships, our work, and our mood. That's why at Apricotte we want to help you be W.E.L with your inner and outer world.
